Ken Turner

Ken Turner has been singing gospel music professionally for over 60 years.   He sang bass  for the Blackwood Brothers Quarter from 1971-1986, winning five Grammy Awards and ten Dove Awards while a member of that quartet .

Ken was also the bass singer for The James Blackwood Quartet

from 1990-1998. Ken joined with James in concerts through June of  2000, spending 25 years on the road with the

legendary James Blackwood.

 

There is not another bass singer in Southern Gospel that can match his tone and his low notes...and certainly none that can 
mesh that kind of talent with a unique sense of humor
that makes him truly
