Small groups are designed to connect people to each other at Keokuk Nazarene but also to the body of Christ. God is blessing Keokuk Nazarene Church with growth and we realize as we get larger we must also get smaller. Christian community is vital to the growth of any believer and small groups that meet in the church or in homes is one way we experience authentic community.

Our small group ministries are committed to the following four foundations.

1.     Belonging: Our groups are built on the knowledge that we are all a part of God's family and that He has called us to be connected to His community. As part of His community, we commit to loving and accepting each other unconditionally as Jesus Christ has loved and accepted us.

2.     Growing: Our groups are committed to growing spiritually, both individually and as a group, in a way that we are continually taking steps toward becoming a fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ in every area of our lives.

3.     Serving: Our groups are committed to joyfully serving others within the church through a ministry that utilizes each person's God-given spiritual gifts.

4.     Sharing: Our groups are committed to inviting new people to our groups who need to experience Christ's love.

Some examples of our small groups include, Sunday school, Financial Peace University, Your Time Starved Marriage, Sign Language classes, Cooking with Connie, Fireproof Your Marriage, So You Want to Be Like Christ, It All Goes Back in the Box, as well as a host of other teen, men and women’s groups. These groups meet in the church as well as in various homes throughout the week.
